Massive layoffs at TNI
May 26, 2005

Source : Herald Extra

Financial and resource troubles?

Tahitian Noni International laid off, fired, canned, dumped, 153 employees in Provo and American Fork. This includes staff from training and support, call centers, marketing, and lower executive management such as managing directors. While it is made to sound as if TNI took care of the staff they have laid off, reports are reaching us that this is either not the case or is not the case for all individuals that have been booted out the door such as one of their former key figures.

For a company that has recently reported that they had the highest earnings since its inception, this sure looks like typical obfuscation to hide a probably far worse position since its inception. The article mentions a lower number but when inquiring with TNI directly the figure of 153 is repeated. This news, combined with the news of TNI settling their three-year legal dispute with Xango, and the financial pressure of other consecutive lawsuits and legal troubles (such as over their Plan 40 Cream), combined with UK based Ponzi schemes, are clear indications that financial strain has entered the world of Tahitian Noni.

I have a concern I just signed up with TNI. What should I do? Should I ask them about the article you posted here or should I continue to sell Tahitian Noni Juice. I understand that the staff were lying about it cures them but one thing is forsure the noni helps the immune systemz? Everything that you have posted here do not mention that the Noni fruit is not good for you.

For a site that says it doesn’t endorse any products I see alot of “XANGO” referenced. By the way, how can a product lie it’s way into the Physicians Desk Reference Book?

Of course you will see a lot of references to Xango, Goji, and many of the other pyramid ponzi schemes of all these so-called cure-all juices sold to sick people to make a buck off them.

As for getting into the Physicians Desk Reference, that book is not a collection of cures but rather a reference book for all forms of chemicals, drugs, plants, POISONS, and even detergents and household cleaning products. It is used as a reference in hospitals in case a patient gets in with a certain substance that got into them, or their eyes, etc. It’s by no means something that lends credibility to the claims of snake-oil sales people who are selling miracle juices with mythical curing properties. But that’s not what the snake-oil sales people are going to inform you about. They just rather pretend the PDR is a form of “endorsement” or “validation” and hope people are too stupid to go find out themselves what the PDR is and what it is actually used for. It is usually a big surprise that the stinky fruit and juice is listed, along with soap, detergent, and poisons.

Quality Control (QC) at Tahitian Noni international is leading to quarantined Noni Juice being stored in a warehouse east of the Tahitian Noni facility. Click on the image to enlarge and read all about it.

We took a hidden camera into a meeting for sales distributors in Costa Mesa. It sounded like money is growing on trees, at least, the Noni tree. Sales of Tahitian Noni juice are in the billions. "Every 1.7 seconds somebody buys a bottle of Tahitian Noni juice," one salesman told us.
